5 accessories.

If you read my first post, you will see that lists are cool. I also like to show off, so here is a list of my current favourite accessories. This was all done on a whim...so no wigs, no makeup, no photoshop, plenty of bad lighting... Enjoy!! xD

1. Armour Ring

I love armour rings. I've loved them since I saw one on the dainty fingers of Nightmare's Sakito almost ten years ago... Then when I met mai waifu about five years ago, I noticed that he wore an armour ring. That may or may not have influenced my decision to start dating him... Anyway. I bought this ring after my last ever university exam, so it has some kind of significance, I suppose.

2. I'm-Too-Cool-To-Not-Wear-Sunglasses Sunglasses

Again, my love of these sunglasses (however unbecoming they are on me), stems from Visual Kei. Somehow, whoever wears glasses like these, no matter who they are, looks like a rock star. And when one is already a rock star, such glasses will complete one's look. I always see photos of Gackt and Yoshiki in glasses similar to these. When I wear these, it almost makes me feel like their peer. /wishful thinking

3. Fashionable Korean/Japanese Faux Glasses

Fake specs have been my little craze recently. I have 2 pairs of them. The pair I'm wearing in this photo is actually my brother's. xD Although my vision is near perfect, I've always wanted to wear glasses, so I'm thankful for silly Asian trends that brought fake glasses into fashion! We bought all our fake glasses in Singapore for about $3 to $5 a pair. Add them to any outfit, and you'll immediately look ten times cooler.

4. Ridiculously Gargantuan Knitted Snood

Okay. I'm a total sheep - whenever I watch/read something, I tend to adopt aspects of the characters' fashion sense. I read Pandora hearts and bought heaps of boyish checkered shorts. I read Kuroshitsuji and bought pocket watches. I watched Marry Me, Mary and bought heaps of drapey, homeless-rocker clothes. This snood was one purchase I made in this phase, and I'm so glad I bought it - I survived winter with this one scarf. It's so fluffy and warm and can actually be shared with one or two other people. And it was only $30!

5. Putumayo Heart/Rose Necklace

This necklace and I were fated to be together. I saw it last year on a Lolita site and instantly fell in love with it, so I saved the picture and I'd look at it from time to time and pine over that which could never be mine. Then, when I holidayed in Japan last December, I was browsing the Putumayo store in Harajuku and found this very necklace!! I didn't care how much it was, I knew I had to have it. Turned out it was only about NZD$40, a pretty good price for Lolita brand, even a mid-range one.

...Making lists is extremely satisfying. Perhaps I should do this more often. :D
